Playing or Personal Notes:
This tune gave me no end of trouble trying to track down. The sheet we have been playing from calls it "Virginia Reel", but the abc files that I was finding bore no resemblance to the tune we were playing. Some inventive googling (searching for ABC file fragment) revealed that it actually is the tune entitled "Uncle's Jig", or "Louisberg Square" and not "The Virginia Reel" as we originally thought. Since this strikes me more as a reel than a jig, however, I am using the second title.
